For promoters

Fair, public, and checked with you first.

OptionMarket compares land promoters on the public record so landowners can choose on evidence. Here is what that means for you: what we publish, how introductions work, and what we never sell.

What we publish, and how you're involved.

  1. We set the rules first

Our data sources, measures and scope rules are published before any score exists, so every promoter is measured the same way.

  2. You see your profile 14 days before publication

Point out any factual error and we fix it within five working days. Every correction is logged, with a date, on our method page.

  3. Where data is thin, we say so

Below a minimum number of sites, a profile says "Not enough data yet" rather than scoring you on a handful of applications.

How introductions work.

Landowners tell us about their site. We check every one by hand and speak to the landowner. If they want introductions, we suggest up to three promoters that take on sites like theirs and introduce them only with the landowner's consent.

Same terms for everyone

Every promoter can receive introductions on the same published terms.

Agreed in writing first

Where a fee applies, it is set out in written introducer terms before any introduction is made.

Disclosed to the landowner

We tell the landowner about any fee in every introduction.

What we never sell.

  • A better score, ranking or position.
  • Removal of accurate information.
  • Priority over other promoters for introductions.
  • A landowner's details without their consent.
