How we handle your data.
This notice explains what personal data this website collects, why, and the choices you have. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.

Who we are
OptionMarket London ("OptionMarket", "we") operates this website at www.optionmarket.co.uk and is the data controller for the personal data described here. You can contact us about anything in this notice at contact@optionmarket.co.uk.
What we collect and why
Enquiries and registrations of interest
When you complete the form on our contact page we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, the role you select, the nature of your enquiry, and any message you write. We use this to respond to you and, where you have asked about investing, to discuss opportunities with you. Our lawful basis is that this processing is necessary for the steps you have asked us to take before entering into any agreement (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).
If you tick the box asking to be kept informed, we will send you occasional updates about opportunities and platform developments. We do this on the basis of your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time by replying to any message or emailing us.
Form submissions are delivered to us by email through Fastmail, an email provider acting as our processor. We do not sell or share this data with anyone for their own marketing.
Website analytics
With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site: which pages are read, how people arrive, and on what kind of device. This helps us improve the site. Google Analytics is not loaded, and no data is sent to Google, unless you accept analytics in the cookie banner. Where enabled, IP addresses are not logged or stored by Google Analytics 4, Google Signals and advertising personalisation are switched off, and we do not use the data for advertising.
Google LLC processes this data on our behalf. Transfers to the United States are covered by the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Google's standard data protection terms.
Server logs
Our hosting provider, Vercel, records standard technical logs (IP address, request time, browser type) for security and reliability. These are retained for a short period and are not used to identify individual visitors.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We keep their use to a minimum.
Declining analytics has no effect on your use of the site. If you accept and later change your mind, use the button above; we will stop analytics and remove the Google Analytics cookies we set. Your browser also allows you to delete cookies at any time.
How long we keep data
Enquiry emails are kept for as long as we are in an active conversation with you and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless a longer period is required to document a transaction or by law. Newsletter consent is kept until you withdraw it. Analytics data in Google Analytics is retained for 14 months and then deleted automatically.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate data or complete incomplete data;
- ask us to delete your data, or to restrict how we use it;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
- withdraw consent at any time where consent is our basis, including for the newsletter and for analytics cookies;
- complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk if you believe we have handled your data improperly.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@optionmarket.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
Changes to this notice
We will update this page if our practices change. Where a change affects the cookies we set, the cookie banner will be shown again so you can make a fresh choice.
