One journey, every time
Each opportunity follows the same path — sourcing, due diligence, legal documentation, investment, monitoring, exit — with no shortcuts and no exceptions.
About OptionMarket
OptionMarket was founded on a simple observation: the instrument that professional developers have used for decades to secure property — the option agreement — deserved a disciplined, transparent platform of its own.
Our Approach
Property transactions have changed very little in decades. We are not trying to make them louder or faster — we are applying the standards of institutional investment management to a part of the market that has never had them.
Each opportunity follows the same path — sourcing, due diligence, legal documentation, investment, monitoring, exit — with no shortcuts and no exceptions.
Legal documentation is prepared and reviewed by independent solicitors. Valuations follow methods agreed in advance. Investors are always advised to take their own counsel.
We report facts, including unwelcome ones. Updates describe what has happened; memoranda set out risks alongside objectives. We make no claims we cannot support.
Selection Discipline
Our value to investors lies as much in what we exclude as in what we present. An opportunity proceeds only when it withstands each stage of assessment.
Ownership must be clean and the owner genuinely engaged. We do not pursue reluctant counterparties or contested titles.
The path from today's use to the investment objective — allocation, consent, assembly or repositioning — must be specific and realistic, not speculative.
Agreements are structured so that the owner is properly paid for the right granted and the investor's position is properly protected. One-sided terms fail over time.
Every scenario — exercise, assignment, expiry — must be provided for in the agreement before completion. No position depends on goodwill.
Our Mission
By allowing future purchasing rights to be bought and sold within a transparent, professionally documented framework, OptionMarket is building a new asset class — carefully, and for the long term.
